Terms of Service

Last updated: August 29, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MedCertPrep ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Legal Disclaimer, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your account.

3. Use of Services

The Platform provides educational materials for medical certification exam preparation. These materials are for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

  • Modify or copy the materials.
  • Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display.
  • Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the Platform.
  • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials.
  • Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.

4. Payments and Refunds

Certain features of the Platform require payment. All payments are processed through third-party payment providers (such as Stripe). MedCertPrep offers one-time purchases, not subscriptions.

Pro purchases. Each Pro purchase applies to one exam track only (for example, PTCB, CCMA, or CNA). The price, included features, and access period for that purchase are those shown on the Platform and at checkout at the time you complete payment. Access begins when payment is confirmed and ends after the stated access period for that purchase.

Try before you buy. Registered users can access limited free content, including practice questions and mock exams, before purchasing Pro. We encourage you to use the free tier to evaluate the Platform before buying.

3-day refund policy. If you are not satisfied with your Pro purchase, you may request a refund within three (3) calendar days of the successful payment date by contacting us at support@medcertprep.com. If approved, we will process the refund through our payment provider and revoke Pro access for that exam track. Refund requests received after three (3) calendar days are not eligible, except where required by law, for duplicate charges, or when paid access was not delivered and we were notified but unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time.

5. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of MedCertPrep and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of MedCertPrep.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall MedCertPrep, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, exam fees, retake costs, wages, employment opportunities, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Platform, or from reliance on any practice content, explanation, or recommendation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MedCertPrep's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Platform, or any content or purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid to MedCertPrep for the specific Pro or paid feature giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. If you have not made a paid purchase, MedCertPrep's total liability shall not exceed USD $50.

7. Disclaimer

MedCertPrep is an independent educational platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any official board, testing agency, or educational institution. Our materials are provided for supplemental exam preparation only, may contain errors, and do not guarantee passing any exam. Practice content is independently developed and is not official exam content. Some explanations and recommendations may be AI-assisted and can be incomplete or incorrect. Additional content disclaimers are set out in our Legal Disclaimer.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where MedCertPrep operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
